How do online auctions work?
Our online auctions take place on EstateSales.net; typically they end at 9:30PM. We will have two different dates where you can pick up your merchandise. If you are the winning bidder, you will first receive an email from EstateSales.net that has a 6-letter pick up code; you will need that code to pick up your items. Next, you will receive an email from us with information regarding the address, pick up dates, a link to schedule your pick up time and any additional instructions.
How do bid?
First, you will have to create an account with EstateSales.net. Once you have done that, click "place my bid" and enter your MAX bid; EstateSales.net will increase your bid by $1.00 increments up to the amount that you placed. If you are outbid, you should receive an email from EsateSales.net informing you that you have been outbid. If you choose to increase your bid, you will have to reenter your credit card information, and again you will want to place your max bid.
Covid-19 and Online Auctions:
St. Louis Estate Sales is proud to offer curb side pick up for online orders (this excludes furniture and large items). We have two employees at the pick up site; both wear masks and gloves while interacting with the customer and handling the merchandise. We are using a scheduling app that enables customers to sign up for their desired pick up times. If a customer has purchased small kitchen appliances, décor, hand tools, or other easy to carry items, we will set it in the garage, on the porch, or in the yard for pick up. The items will be grouped together by customer and a sticky note will have the customer's name, pick up time, and list of items. We recommend printing out the email (from EstateSales.net) that has the pick up codes for your item(s). We will have a box for customers to place these printed copies; if you do not have these printed copies, a St. Louis Estate Sale employee will record your pick up codes on an iPad.
